Our goal is to wrap every woman in compassion and support—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—throughout her experience with breast cancer.

Pink Check Ups

Pink Check-Up events are partnerships between Delta Cotton Belles and local community groups, designed to provide free breast cancer screenings through clinical breast exams provided by qualified healthcare professionals.

These events focus on bringing education and early detection to women who might not otherwise prioritize a screening. By hosting them in familiar, trusted spaces—like churches and community centers—we’re helping remove barriers and create a more comfortable, accessible experience.

Pink Promise Program

The Pink Promise Program remains at the heart of our mission at Delta Cotton Belles. Early detection is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against breast cancer, and this program not only helps ensure that more women in our region have access to life-saving screenings but also provides free mammograms for the working uninsured and underinsured. We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to take charge of her health, regardless of her financial situation

Over the years, the Pink Promise Program has grown to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Today, mammograms are offered through our program at several trusted healthcare partners, including Delta Health System in Greenville, Leland Medical Clinic in Leland, South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola, North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, and UMMC in Grenada.

Wrapped in Pink

Our Wrapped in Pink Program is dedicated to walking alongside women throughout their breast cancer journey—offering care, comfort, and connection from diagnosis through recovery.

Here’s how Wrapped in Pink makes a difference:

Beth’s Blessing Bags-After diagnosis, women receive a thoughtfully assembled, tote filled with educational resources and comfort items—offering both support and a reminder that they’re not alone.
Support for Mastectomy Patients- We help cover the cost of essential items that may not be covered by insurance, including pre-op camisoles, mastectomy pillows, bras, breast prostheses, and lymphedema products.
Transportation Assistance—We offer transportation assistance for clients in need to help ease the financial strain of frequent medical appointments.

Emotional and Well-being Support-Our volunteers stay actively connected through regular phone calls and visits. We also host monthly survivor gatherings filled with encouragement, programs, and community. Counseling is available upon request for those seeking professional support.
Wigs, Scarves, Caps, and Hats- For women experiencing hair loss due to treatment, we provide a selection of wigs and head coverings at no cost—helping them feel more like themselves during a challenging time.
Survivor Celebrations- Each year, we honor and uplift our survivors through special events like the “Proud to be Pink” luncheon—celebrating their strength, courage, and continued journey.
