Community Outreach

Our efforts to connect with the community are centered on raising awareness about the importance of breast health and early detection. We also work to ensure that individuals across our eleven-county service area know about — and have access to — the resources and support provided by Delta Cotton Belles.

Health Fairs
Delta Cotton Belles actively participates in health fairs and local events throughout the year to promote breast health education and early detection. We proudly partner with other organizations to enhance their outreach efforts and share information about the services we provide.
Through collaboration with health and civic groups, our board members and healthcare professionals offer educational talks on breast health and the mission of Delta Cotton Belles.
Our Friends Wear Pink
Each October, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Friends Wear Pink initiative invites businesses, schools, and community organizations to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
Participants across our service area show their support by wearing pink and sharing photos with Delta Cotton Belles. These images are then shared through our communication channels to highlight our community’s united commitment to breast health and to those fighting breast cancer.

Pink Out
Our Pink Out initiative engages regional high schools, colleges, and universities during October in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By providing pink athletic tape and other sports-related items, Delta Cotton Belles helps student-athletes and cheer squads visibly show their support while raising awareness for breast health and our mission.
